Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg came to Brandeis University in January 2016 to kick off the centennial celebration of Louis D. Brandeis’ nomination to the Supreme Court. Before addressing an audience of thousands of students, faculty and staff in Gosman Sports and Convocation Center, Ginsburg fielded questions from a group of legally-inclined students for an hour. She offered insight into challenging the status quo, judicial activism and writing opinions that get read.
