Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the second woman ever appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court and the first Jewish woman to hold that position. She was a powerhouse woman who argued landmark cases for gender equality and held the distinction as the first female tenured professor of law at Columbia University.
