Ginsburg Suffers Major Brainfreeze, Audience Has To Give Her Constitution To Remember 14th Amendment
Now that it appears that the Democrats’ sleazy plan to keep Brett Kavanaugh off of the nation’s highest court, there is sheer pandemonium in D.C. as unruly mobs are not taking this morning’s vote to move to cloture very well.
With the decisive final vote looming after the inevitable Susan Collins grandstanding moment later this afternoon, the hordes of Bernie-bots, young socialists, useful idiots and assorted other diaper dumpers who have descended on Washington are going to go into total meltdown.
But for those who are shaking their heads in disbelief at the way that the tantrum-throwing Resistance is now conducting themselves would do well to realize that as ugly and unseemly as the protests and intimidation are today, it’s just a warmup for the coming battle that will likely make Armageddon look like a picnic.
With President Trump well on the way to reelection, he will get at least one more Supreme Court pick and this is going to be a big one because the 85-year-old Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is fading and fading fast.
The woman who CNN recently promoted as the “face” of the anti-Trump resistance is exhibiting signs of old age if not outright senility.
It didn’t get any play on CNN but several weeks ago, granny Ginsburg spoke before a women’s rights group and during a discussion of the Fourteenth Amendment, forgot what was in it. Fortunately for RBG, an audience member whipped out a trusty copy of a pocket Constitution in time to save the octogenarian jurist.
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg forgot the contents of the 14th Amendment while speaking to the National Woman’s Party in late August and needed an audience member to give her a copy of the Constitution so she could remember what it said.
The incident happened on August 26, 2018, when Ginsburg was asked to talk about the Equal Rights Amendment while addressing the audience at the Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument.
As the video showed, the absent-minded RBG fumbled around looking for something in her purse when the rescuer emerged just in time to save the day but it is an ominous sign for those who believe that the feisty old feminist will be able to live long enough to outlast Trump’s presidency.
Even if she does make it into her 90s, the question of her mental fitness has to come into question because let’s face it, this isn’t just any old woman but one who still sits on the Supreme Court and barely avoids nodding out the majority of the time even on the good days.
If Kavanaugh does manage to get confirmed this weekend it will be a crushing psychological blow to the political left but what happens when Ginsburg either kicks the bucket or has to step down due to dementia? Thanks to the media, she is far more than just a woman but rather a symbol but like everyone else, she isn’t going to last forever.
All hell is going to break loose on the day that RBG’s seat opens up and from the looks of it, it’s going to be soon.
It’s the glue factory on line one…
