Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg sat down for a conversation with DC Circuit Court of Appeals Judge David Tatel as part of the annual Judge Thomas A. Flannery lecture series. Justice Ginsburg touched on a number of legal topics. She also talked about the confirmation process for justices over the years, calling Congress the “culprit” for the polarizing process. The late Judge Flannery served on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, which was the same court Justice Ginsburg served on before joining the nation’s highest court.
