RBG Dissent Collar Paper Snowflake – How to cut out a Ruth Bader Ginsberg Dissent Collar

Did you see this?

Find the pattern here:

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg had a soft voice and small stature, but when she spoke, people listened. In addition to her pointed words, RBG also sent messages with her dazzling neckwear, and one of her most popular collars among fans was her “dissent collar.” When asked why she wore this collar the day after Trump’s election, she explained, “it looks fitting for dissent.”

Be warned – this pattern is not for the faint of heart! It uses 3 different sized hole punches: 1/4”, 1/8”, and 1/6” and it’s VERY important that you fold the paper as accurately as you can because some of the hole punches are along the edge of the paper. I use 16lb Eco-Efficient paper by HP (it’s thinner and easier to fold and cut than 20lb paper), and you can see the cutting tools I use on my FAQs page.

Honor RBG with some dissent collar decor, affix it to the top of a package for a special friend, create some RBG-inspired framed artwork, or try out other creative ideas!

If you’d like an even easier way to cut out this paper snowflake, you can use my Paper Snowflake Print-N-Cut template:
Just print out the template, follow the directions to fold, and cut out the black parts of the pattern.

Let me know how it goes 🙂 Hope you enjoy!
